About DigiDiwali

DigiDiwali is a small idea: on Diwali everyone lights a lamp for someone. We put that lamp on a map of India.

You give a name, a pincode and a message, pay ₹1 or more, and your diya glows in your city on a live map of India. You get a card to send to your family. Every diya counts for your city.

Sabse Bada Diya

One diya burns brightest at the top of the map. It belongs to whoever gave the most. Give ₹1 more and it is yours. It is not a game and there is no prize; it is one place that belongs to one person at a time.

For children in need

50% of everything collected on this site is set aside to help underprivileged children in India. It is sent to charities, NGOs, schools or organisations chosen by our team. The choice is entirely at the team's discretion; buyers have no say in, claim on, or right to direct it. The counter on the home page shows the amount set aside so far.

Where the rest goes

The rest pays for running this site, payment fees, taxes and the people who built it.
